scientific design.

Biochemistry.

Enjoy the elegance of a DNA helix spiraling with precision, or the intricate dance of atoms within a protein structure. Often hidden from the naked eye, we can visualise the tiny world of biomolecules.

Chemistry.

Each molecule, with its unique structure, tells a story about the hidden forces that shape our world. Through scientific design, these tiny wonders turn into clear, visual artworks that combine art and science.

ABOUT DR. VERENA RESCH

From a young age, Verena was passionate about natural science, particularly astronomy and animals. In high school, she developed a fascination with chemistry, leading her to study chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Graz. Chemistry is her Yin, and art her Yang. She gained experience in professional graphic design through internships at a major advertising agency. During her PhD and PostDoc, she created journal covers and conference materials, blending her creative and analytical skills. Verena began freelancing as a scientific illustrator in 2016.
