ONLINE COURSE
3D-RENDERING WITH BLENDER

Have you ever wondered how all those stunning and glossy looking cover images are made? Or high-end scientific visualizations in magazines and presentations? The answer is 3D-rendering! Creating stylish images of your molecules or experimental setups is not something that is limited to graphic designers. With the help of Blender (an open source software) you can enter the world of professional 3D-rendering as well!
When I started getting into Blender a couple of years ago, I had a hard time finding all the information I needed in order to learn how to load molecules and biomolecules into the software. It took a lot of trial and error. Nevertheless, I quickly fell in love with Blender and I use it ever since. My initial struggles led me to the decision to compile my gathered knowledge and experience into an online course featuring step-by-step tutorials helping scientists get into Blender.
The tutorials provide a kick-start into the world of 3D-rendering of molecules, proteins, DNA, bacteria, viruses and more.
Not only are you going to be able to load pdb files directly into Blender, you will also learn how to build your own glassware and style your scenes.
I also documented my Blender journey on my Instagram. If you want to follow along, join me there!
